Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service of our country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country.
American Legion Post 522 will be honoring those men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Please join us at the American Legion Post 522 on Sunday May 30th 2021 for a Chicken Dinner (Free for Post members and their families) and on Monday May 31 2021 for a Flag Ceremony.
