The Book Club’s handle is Keeping the Stories Alive! Join Post 522 Legion member Tim Yauck and our community of readers and audiobook listeners as they engage our Country’s Military History.
Our second book is a story called ‘The Odyssey of Echo Company’ by author Doug Stanton. This book will take us back to the Vietnam War as we follow an American army platoon as they fight for their survival during the war. It’s not just the battle they face during war but the battle they face when they return home.
The Club will commence reading ‘The Odyssey of Echo Company’ on December 21st, 2023. After reading part one of the book, there will be a Mid-point gathering on January 13th to talk about the book in more detail.
